Melissa was born born April 18, 1976 in Smithtown, New York. She is the eldest kid out of eight. Hart has six sisters and one brother. Her professional career started with TV commercials. Together, they have three children, all sons, born in 2006, 2008, and 2012, respectively. The family live together in Westport, Connecticut.
