Elisha started her career in Popular Mechanics for Kids as a children star. But her adult movie career began with ’24’, FOX thriller where she was starring as Kim Bauer. Than a several memorable movies followed, The Girl Next Door, House of Wax and The Six Wives of Henry Lefay. The Girl Next Door is probably showing her figure at it’s best back in 2004. Career
Cuthbert began modeling children’s clothing at the age of 9, and she became a foot model as well. She made her television debut on the Nickelodeon series “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” in 1996, and she went on to appear in 27 episodes. From 1997 to 2000, Elisha co-hosted “Popular Mechanics for Kids,” and during the show’s first season, her co-host was fellow “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” alum Jay Baruchel. Cuthbert’s reporting on “Popular Mechanics for Kids” caught the attention of then-First Lady Hillary Clinton, which resulted in Elisha being invited to the White House. Cuthbert’s first film was 1997’s “Dancing on the Moon,” then she appeared in “Nico the Unicorn” (1998), “Time at the Top” (1999), “Airspeed” (1999), “Who Gets the House?” (1999), and “Believe” (2000). In 2001, she played Katlin Palmerson in the TV movie “Lucky Girl,” which earned her a Gemini Award. Elisha became engaged to Trace Ayala, Justin Timberlake’s personal assistant/best friend in June 2004. They split up in November 2005. Cuthbert then married hockey player Dion Phaneuf of the Toronto Maple Leafs on July 6, 2013, and they welcomed daughter Zaphire on December 21, 2017. Elisha has been a fan of ice hockey for years, and in 2005, she wrote a blog for the NHL website.
